In the heart of the Metal East, Wash. DC, Challz (CL Brown) was born. Hardship and turmoil made
for everyday life and extensive growing pains that make ABCs sitcom, look like Heaven on
Earth. The trials and tribulations dropped in on him constantly as a youth and made being a
stable and normal kid difficult to say the least.

Needless to say, Challz is well versed in the so-called urban existence. He learned that
creativity is one way to make things better so he withdrew into his imagination and learned
that hip-hop gave an instant release to do and be whatever and wherever your mind could take
you. This led to MCing and Producing or beat-making at a young age which made him search for
ways to create but in a different, sometimes unique way. Not only making music by diggin in
the crates for dusty old records to sample but Challz (AKA THE GOOD) also masters his craft
with the latest digital production equipment to incorporate synths, keyboards and live
instrumentation to get the perfect sound. Long the performer, Challz has performed on stages of
many of the most popular, to the smallest venues of his home to gain smiles, handshakes and
various fans from all walks of life.

A bonified DC legend, that has been there, done that and is still DOIN IT! His mark on the city runs
deep as he has completed 5 albums, shot three videos, recorded with over 25 artists, distributed
much of his own music, sold CDs out the trunk and maintained a street level respect that is
unchallenged.

Challz is his own man, his own creation, but in the image of the streets around him, the people
that mold him and the music that shaped him. His album 'Success At Failure' will
document his life and the lives of all of us as we try to understand the many ways we have all

This "B-Boy" meets "ladies man" combines powerful lyricism with everyday experiences to
give you what's fresh and hot in Hip Hop.  J ProFane has built a strong following and nice
buzz in the New England community and abroad.  With handfuls of undeniable hits such as "I Like
The Way" and "Swag On" from his 2008 released EP "Swagger To Burn", J Pro has been making a

I was born Al-Jameer White on January 1st in Newark, New Jersey. My father was
hardly present and passed away when I was 19...my uncles stepped in  as the male
role models in my life.  My mother passed away when I was 10 and was raised by
my grandmother who with her strength became my backbone. That's when "Jerzey"
was born and the music began.

I ran track for a number of years for the YMCA and had the potential to go to
the Olympics but the only way i knew how to deal with the pain and loss of my
mother was taking to the streets and music. I did not graduate from high school
but acquired my GED during the time I spent in prison.

I moved to Cape Cod in 2001 to make a better life for myself and my daughter. I
am driven and focused on telling my story through my music and having it heard.
My life's experiences and the pain brought on by them are expressed through my
music. My Goal: To make HISTORY!!!
